New Pics of Gussie!! Still waiting for a forever home!

Updated pics of Gussie! This gorgeous Russian Blue mix has been waiting over a year for her forever home! Please read her story and see if you or someone you know can give this sweetheart a safe place in your home! Can you believe that this rescued Russian Blue is still available for adoption? In June 2009, Gussie was rescued from a field when she was a tiny baby and she was fending for herself and dogs were a threat to her safety, so we took her in so she wouldn't be left to face abandonment with no help. She has been passed up again and again ever since she was a kitten and doesn't understand why all of her friends have gone and left her behind.

As you can see from her new pics taken this October, Gussie enjoys sitting outside, surrounded by nature, supervised of course, and smelling the fresh air and listening to the birds and just watching her surroundings in peace, grateful for having a second chance at life and for humans who are willing to sit with her, sharing companionship. Sometimes we wonder what goes on inside that gorgeous head of hers, and hope she soon will get an application on her from a kind individual who knows Gussie is worth welcoming into their home.

Gussie likes to pretend that she is quite shy although we think it is just a game she plays to test us.



Gussie is so very pretty, with her greyish medium length hair and gorgeous olive-coloured eyes that speak volumes about her patience and willingness to listen about your day and understands that living in the moment is important and appreciating second chances helps make the most out of life.



Gussie knows what life is worth, and she very much wants to settle down with a forever person who will share their life with her, who will talk to her and give her a cozy, warm place to sleep and who will cherish the companionship that she so much wants to give to someone.

Gussie is truly good for the soul, and she is a gal who has patiently been waiting for someone to come and adopt her and help her move forward into a much brighter new life where she won't have to worry about losing friends and can finally have a forever person to call her own.
